Here’s a guide to get you started on selling cookies.

Initial Cookie Orders (For Personal Sales)

Step 1

Sign a Product Sales Permission Slip for each of your scouts and notify troop cookie manager that you have.

Step 2 – Create your SIO (Starting Inventory Order)

Create your initial inventory order for your scouts. Think about how you want to help your scout earn cookie sales. More booths? More personal sales? Then order 20-30% of the cookies your scout plans on selling personally. You can order more or less, but remember you are responsible for the cookies that you take possession of.

Example: Quinn wants to sell 500 cookies, and will be working 5 booths. Booths earn a scout between 20 and 50 packages per booth. To reach that goal and work that many booths, they are probably going to need to sell about 300 packages personally. So Quinn’s initial order can be between 20 and 30% of that 300 (60-90 packages).

You don’t need to worry about booth cookies. The troop supplies those from the pantry.

Also, you have a while to order more as you need them. We will take new cookie orders as long as we feel we can fulfill them from the pantry.

Step 3 – Schedule and Pickup Cookies

Schedule Pickup of cookies using the form below. You should make sure the above order is approved first in case we need to get more cookies from the council pantry first.
